...and for this, to those few that may actually be reading my blog, I apologise.
It's been a really busy few months; really, really feeling that it's my final year. I'm currently partway through my orthopaedic and rheumatology attachment and am, weirdly, for once, actually enjoying myself.
Not that I envision a career in orthopaedics, of course. I have neither the strength nor the testosterone.
But, perhaps rheumatology? And in whichever case, I know I'd probably be all right doing an F2 placement in orthopaedics.
This is useful in case its paired with another speciality I like when applying for jobs at the end of October.
Oh, God, it's much too soon...
The week when those in 'the year above' became F1s - that is, junior doctors - has passed, and my God, it feels weird having friends offer to treat you to dinner and teach you on the wards. But it's also pretty cool.
Anyway, I've just returned from an oncall and am thoroughly shattered, so more later. And sooner, I promise!!!
